Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of LineageRemote (the "Service"), provided via l2.smart123.ro. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
LineageRemote is a remote-control and screen-streaming tool that lets you operate your own Windows PC from another device. You install our Windows client on the PC you want to control; you then access that PC through the LineageRemote dashboard from a browser or a paired client.
The Service is in active development and is offered as a commercial beta. Features, pricing, and availability may change with reasonable notice.
2. Account & eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secret and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Acceptable use
You may only install LineageRemote on computers you own or are authorized to operate. You agree not to:
- install the Service on devices you don't control;
- use the Service to surveil, harass, or defraud others;
- use the Service to violate any law applicable to you or to the PC being controlled (including anti-cheat, online-gaming terms, or export regulations);
- reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service beyond what is expressly permitted;
- probe, scan, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
4. Subscription & billing
Access to the full Service requires an active subscription, billed per paired PC ("seat"). Subscriptions renew monthly and are charged in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. Prices are listed on the pricing section in EUR and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
You may cancel at any time via the billing portal linked from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; see our Refund Policy for details.
5. Trial
New subscribers may be offered a free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your payment method will be charged at the end of the trial. You can cancel at any point during the trial from the billing portal.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including the client software, server code, website, and branding, is owned by us and our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose during your subscription. No other rights are granted.
7. Availability & support
We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Support is provided at contact@smart123.ro.
8. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. You use the Service at your own risk. In particular, LineageRemote must only be used on PCs you are authorized to operate.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, for non-payment, or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will survive.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we'll notify you by email or via the dashboard before they take effect. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Bucharest, Romania, unless a mandatory consumer-protection rule in your country of residence says otherwise.
